Workload:

30 h classroom work / 120 h self-study

Every two weeks except first session

ECTS points: 5

 

Examination:

 

Presentations:

Intermediate Presentation (work-in-progress) 20 min. plus discussion (10% of final grade)

Final Presentation 30 min. plus discussion, presentation of research results (30% of final grade)

Term paper: Written analysis, 10-12 pages (60% of final grade)

Marketing strategies – how YOT were/will be promoted

Analysis of priorities in events

Inbound/Outbound tourist numbers Quantitative

Comparison of both YoTs

Overall analysis – Real/Expected Positive and negative results / Return on Investment

 

 

Research task

Researching and presenting the development of a previous YoT, comparison between selected YoTs, analysis of their effect on the bilateral tourism during and after the YoT

First feedback for selected YoTs

19.11.    Intermediate Presentations

3.12.      Arlt: Destination Branding / Q&A and preparations final presentations

17.12.    No class (instead Gastronomy Tourism course) -> new date 14.1. evening
