Values
Whereas motiviations are to a considerable
extent based on physical needs which are part of
the human nature, VALUES are learned.
Values differ
from one culture to another
from one social group to another
from one period of time to another
Companies and organisations have different values
which lead their work - sometimes explicitly stated,
but mainly implicitly acted out.
Example:
Stated value: The customer comes first
Acted value: The customer is disturbing the complicated
process of balancing the social network within our
organisation

How
can organisations make sure that the
individuals working in them share the
same values and that these values are
contributing towards the success of
the organisation?
