 Debate: Is Globalisation "Good" or "Bad"?

(Walters: Globalization, 2nd ed. Routledge 1995)

Debate: Is Globalisation "Good" or "Bad": Please form three groups:

two groups of 4 students each and one group of the remaining students.

The smaller groups will participate in the debate, one group trying to convince everybody the globalization is "good" for mankind and one group trying to convince everybody that globalization is "bad" and should be stopped/reversed.

The bigger group will act as the audience and jury.

For preparation each group has 20 minutes to prepare:
The two debating groups their arguments, the bigger group a way to judge the quality of the arguments in an as objective as possible way.

Prof. Arlt will chair the debate and will decide before the preparation which group is taking which position.

During the debate the audience is not allowed to interfere.
