World as text - Symbols - Coat of arms
Yesterday we discussed the idea of the "World as text". Looking at communication and the invention of ideas like childhood, gender, or illness support this ontological point of view.
We also discussed the use of symbols as the base of communications.
Let's use this ideas to try out to communicate your self-image in symbols using a coat of arms / crest.
Please develop a crest showing your main personal characteristics in the form of a symbol. Please use no more than five symbol, minimum is one. You have 20 minutes to develop and draw the crest, we will then discuss them both from the point of view of personal development and from the point of view of using symbols in communication.
