There are different methods to calculate the centre of a country or continent. Several places can claim this distinction. Using the Tourism as an exercise in semiotics approach, try to develop a communication framework for loading up the "centre point" with meaning as to make it attractive for visitors to visit, to turn into something which is "SEHENSWÜRDIG".
Please form 4 groups of about 5 students each and think about methods, messages and markers to establish one of the "centre points" successfully. Present your results after the lunch break (each group about 10 min. presentation plus about 10 min. discussion).
