 Tourism Impact

The course “Tourism Impacts” addresses the results of the development of tourism as a mass phenomena. One of the key question in tourism is: How can we resolve conflicts, increase yield and achieve more sustainable development? In this context we will look closer at the concepts of sustainable development and the various impacts that tourism may have on the economic, socio-cultural and ecological environment.  Through working on a diverse range of case-studies you get an inside into the key aspects of tourism impacts and possible alternative ways of approaching tourism in the future.
