Introduction
Psychologically there are many reasons
for travelling, based in western societies mainly
on the concept of self-actualization, which can
take many forms (relaxation, sports, new experiences,
new friendships etc.). This will be discussed in
detail later in this course.
Whereas for most people travelling
seems to be something they decide upon privately
and based on personal preferences, in fact a lot
of this decisions are based on patterns within their
specific national, gender, and age group.
