Human Resource Motivation in
International Leisure & Event Management

           

4 SWS Seminar: Development and presentation of special topics

Workload: 60 h classroom work / 120 h self-study

ECTS points: 6

Examination: Presentation (six groups) and paper (12 pages p.P.)

 

Content: Motivation of "producers" in L&E Management including:
- (temporary) paid staff
- Volunteers
- Visitors

Goal: To understand the different forms of producers motivation and the challenges and opportunities arising from them for Leisure and Event Management especially with regard to the non-monetary motivation.

General Structure:
First three sessions: First two units basic information, last unit start group work

Next three sessions: First unit additional basic information, last two units intermediate presentations and discussion group work

Seventh session: Additional input and Q&A as needed

Session eight and nine: Presentations of six groups

Last session: Feedback, Preparation Term Papers, Q&A
